A Vulcanised tyre repair (hot repair) is a chemical and heat process that welds new raw rubber into damaged areas. A vulcanising tyre machine involves two hot plates that are on a hydraulic press. The press moulds a reinforced repair patch into your tyre; extra rubber also fills the punctured hole. This process takes around 30 minutes from start to finish. This repair restores structural strength to your tyre and is by far the most reliable repair on the market. Because of this we also repair runflat tyres — the comprehensive nature of a vulcanised repair allows us to fix more tyres than normal cold repair patches and plug repairs.
